..They’re both reality TV stars so Katie Price and Lauren Goodger must have had plenty to talk about as they enjoyed a night on the town in Liverpool yesterday.

Despite the bad weather both girls stepped out in outfits which were barely there showing off their best assets as they headed to Newz Bar.

http:But it was newcomer to the world of showbiz, Lauren who was dressed like a superstar while Katie was more casual as the pair enjoyed a catch up.

Katie chose pink and beige striped shorts and a matching top which she paired with gold platforms.

The 34-year-old kept her blonde hair back from her face in a casual updo and she kept her jewellery minimal, sporting only a long gold chain.

Keeping her Twitter follower up to date with her whereabouts, Price posted a picture of herself and Lauren enjoying a meal before they hit the dance floor.

Who needs a coat when you can have someone else carry an umbrella for you?

Lauren who has recently dropped between a stone and a stone and a half on a new health and fitness regime was obviously keen to show off her figure.

The 25-year-old choose a vampish black lace top complete with a feather skirt for the girls night and left her flowing brunette locks loose.

The salon owner looked bronzed from her recent trip to Marbella with her The Only Way Is Essex co-stars as she showed off her legs in a pair of nude coloured peep toe heels.

Goodger also uploaded a picture to her Twitter page of the duo, her caption read: ‘Me and @MissKatiePrice at the bar and grill liverpool’.

The TOWIE star's tweets proved that she had been looking forward to her night out with the mother-of-three and spending some time in the city.

Earlier in the evening she tweeted: 'Looking forward @GPplayground first dinner n drinks I'm loving liverpool'.

And she made sure to upload several pictures of herself throughout the evening, it also seems that Lauren had got the party going way before she met up with Katie.

Another one of her posts to the micro-blogging site read: 'Ready 2 partyyyy champs already in room thanks @hiltonliverpool x'

Earlier in the day, each were spotted out and about separately; Katie is currently on a promotional tour for her latest book while Lauren is hawking her Lauren’s Way beauty products around the country.

Katie looked demure as she attended a signing in Manchester for In the Name of Love, wearing grey jeans, a loose pink top, and a long semi-transparent grey cardigan.

She added a touch of her token glamour with a (slightly clashing) pair of pink and yellow heels, and wore her hair in a pony tail.

Her nails were rather elaborately decorated with pink check nail varnish while dark sunglasses completed the look.

Meanwhile, Lauren put her time in Liverpool to good use as she hit the shops.

She had clearly been impressed with the quality as she arrived back at her hotel sporting a number of bag s and a big smile on her face.

..She's been known to cause a stir at her book launches in the past.

But usually, Katie Price's attention-seeking strategy is based on simply baring a generous amount of flesh.

The glamour model took things a step further as she celebrated the release of her eighth novel In The Name of Love at a West London studio today.

Katie wore a red and gold halterneck costume featuring a long layered train, which fell over the back of her horse, three-year-old Dante.

Perhaps as a nod to safety, she also wore some sturdy-looking shiny gold booths, and glittery red gloves.

Katie completed her look with a red headdress, and scarlet lipstick teamed with smoked-out eyes.

She showed off her equestrian skills as she let the horse rear, creating a dramatic effect in front of the giant book poster.

Katie has confessed that she would love to write steamier novels but feels restricted by her readership.

'I'd like to do the sex scenes a bit more raunchier but I can't because of my fanbase,'she admitted.

'I'm quite happy how I do this but I'd like to do crime (fiction).'

The book follows a sports presenter, Charlie, who falls for Felipe, a Spanish ho
rse rider tipped for a medal at the 2012 Olympics.

Katie explained: 'This book seems a coincidence but I had a really bad horse accident last year involving a vehicle and two horses died in my arms.'

'At the beginning of the book there's a horse accident so that's really weird that I'd already done the book and it really did happen.'

The reality star said the Spanish male lead was inspired by her Argentinian fiance Leandro Penna.

'Charlie meets a Spanish guy and I've met a Spanish guy. But Felipe in the book could speak English but my one couldn't so it's not exactly right,' she divulged.

Asked about rumours she is going to appear in a raunchy Argentinian TV dance programme, the mother-of-three said: 'They have asked me to do it, I would like to do it but it's just trying to fit it in. You've got the kids' summer holidays coming up; I like to take them away.'

'It's not up the road, it's like a 13-hour flight. I'd be doing it for fun, I wouldn't be taking it seriously. I'm not a dancer.'

She's been rumoured to be wanting to expand her family with Leandro Penna for the past few months.

And it seems Katie Price is doing just that, but with a pet dog instead of a baby.

The glamour model and her Argentine model fiancé were seen shopping for dogs in Sin City yesterday as they made the most of their holiday.

Loved up: But Katie has denied reports she is planning to wed Leandro soon, insisting the pair have not yet set a date for their wedding

Katie looked particularly enamoured with a husky puppy, clinging the canine close to her chest as she appeared to be considering the complications of jetting a new pet back from the States to England.

The mother-of-three wore a pair of tiny purple denim shorts and a white vest top teamed with a pair of huge sunglasses and cowboy boots as she enjoyed the sunshine.

Meanwhile, Leandro dressed down in jeans, a grey T-shirt and brown flip-flops as he walked along hand-in-hand with his fiancée.

And it was a fun-packed day for the pair, who visited a shooting range after their shopping for dogs.

Despite Katie and Leandro being in Las Vegas, the model has denied rumours they are planning to have a quickie wedding in Sin City, after she married now ex-husband Alex Reid back in February 2010.

In a lengthy blog on her management's website entitled My Real Wedding Woe, Katie wrote: 'There has been a lot of speculation in the magazines about Leos and my wedding plans. The simple truth is that Leo and I have not set a date and we have made absolutely no plans.

'Leo and I are enjoying being together and being engaged. We are not rushing into a wedding and have made no plans.'

Katie also went on to deny claims that she wants 'to tie the knot by Christmas; that I want to spend over £2million on my wedding; that I want to order a Christmas tree larger than the one in Trafalger Square (dont get me wrong I love a good Christmas tree but…!); that I want to dress Princess as a snow angel and my boys as elves; that I am rushing into my wedding plans (even though I am not making them yet); that I want four wedding dresses so that I can get changed three times.'

She added: 'None of this is true and I guess relatively harmless but what is sad is that they then go on to claim that I want "Alex, his fiancée Chantelle Houghton and Pete to all weep with envy". This is not the case.'

Only a few days ago, she was causing chaos in Liverpool on friend Danielle Lloyd's hen night.

And the madness looks set to continue as Katie Price arrived in Las Vegas yesterday - where she famously wed Alex Reid two years ago.

However, her new fiancé Leandro Penna was nowhere to be seen, so its unlikely the mother-of-three is set to rush down the aisle just yet.


Wearing an unusual pair of red, black and white leggings and a leather jacket from Celeb Boutique, the 33-year-old was seen leaving Vegas's McCarran international airport carrying her Louis Vuitton luggage.

With her reality show camera crew in tow, its unlikely the saying 'what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas' will apply.

Although she has been back once since, Price's main association with Vegas will be the location for her second wedding to Reid.

The pair tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the wedding chapel at the Wynn Hotel in February 2010 after a whirlwind six month romance.

Their divorce was only finalised in March this year - over a year after Price left the cagefighter at 11 months of marriage.

She jetted out to Sin City after filming a celebrity edition of Deal Or No Deal with Noel Edmonds.

Price and Penna announced their engagement three weeks ago after a rocky one year on/off courtship.

They originally started dating in March 2011 after meeting at Sir Elton John's post-Oscar party.

But by September last year, the couple had split, blaming language difficulties.

She has never been described as modest.

And when it comes to Katie Price's latest engagement ring, it's no different, as the mother-of-three proved by flashing her giant pink heart-shaped diamond out at London's Aura nightclub last night.

The 33-year-old star had been attempting to cover up the diamond on her night out, pulling her black cardigan over her hand in a bid to keep the jewel hidden.

However, as she made her way into the back of the car to head home after the evening out, Katie gave waiting photographers a glimpse of the diamond.

And it didn't disappoint. The gaudy bauble looked like it had come straight out of a Christmas cracker - or from a Barbie accessories set.

Heart-shaped, pink and surrounded by smaller diamonds, it was nicely offset by her mint green manicure.

The debut of the ring comes after claims emerged in this week's heat magazine that the pink ring isn't Katie's actual engagement ring.

The magazine claimed: 'Jordan's spokesperson confirmed at the time that the two planned to marry, but here's the thing - we've learned that the ring in question wasn't actually Katie's, but was in fact borrowed from a friend.'

But Katie looked more than comfortable with her new accessory, whether borrowed or not, on her night out last night.

The glamour model opted for a Delicious Couture T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan 'Wild Thing', paired with a tiny pair of black hotpants and matching thigh-high boots as she headed out.

After announcing the happy news, she wrote in her column in the Sunday Sun newspaper: 'Husband number three? Will it last? I'm not surprised by people's reactions.

'I was watching a programme about Liz Taylor recently and thought about how similar we are, falling in love so fast and deep.'

She's made a living out of being glamorous, but yesterday Katie Price proved she could get down and dirty with the best of them as she took part in a gruelling fitness challenge.

Displaying impressive fitness levels, Price pounded the pathways with every other athlete, dragging herself through dirty ditch water and completing the course caked in mud.

The mother-of-three was taking part in the charity X Runner challenge in Brailsford, Derbyshire, with on-off boyfriend Leandro Penna.

The pair made a formidable fitness team as they pushed through the course.

At one point Price lost her footing and fell into a ditch filled with filthy water, finishing the course covered in mud.

Penna and Price supposedly split last autumn, but the pair have been spotted putting on displays of affection in recent weeks.

The divorce was granted on the grounds of Reid's 'unreasonable behaviour', but it will be another four weeks before it is finalised with a decree absolute.

Despite her protestations that she is not in a relationship, Price has done little to dispel speculation suggesting otherwise.
