EXCLUSIVE: Geri Halliwell and Henry Beckwith enjoy romantic boat trip after rekindling their relationship

Geri Halliwell has reunited with ex-boyfriend Henry Beckwith to give their relationship another go.

The 39-year-old star, who split from playboy Beckwith last month, was spotted enjoying a boat trip and some waterskiing with her former beau earlier this week, amid reports the couple have decided to try again.

However, friends of the singer are said to be concerned Geri is signing up for more heartbreak by dating Henry again.


One friend said: 'Geri is proceeding with caution while Henry is hoping she will stay with him and give their relationship more time.

'Geri has been so depressed and upset without him, she feels he is the one and is thinking she might have been hasty in making him make a decision about their relationship last month.'

Geri and Henry split last month after two-and-a-half years together. It was claimed at the time Geri decided to end the relationship because she didn't trust Henry.

A source said: 'Geri came to the realisation that things weren't going to work with Henry.

'The age gap meant he had a wandering eye when it came to other women and he was interested in partying. She doesn't trust him.'

Henry, cousin of socialite Tamara Beckwith and son of millionaire property developer Sir John Beckwith, was pictured holding hands with another woman last year while leaving a nightclub, but Geri forgave him.

And friends of the former Spice Girls star are said to be worried that Geri will be left hurt again if Henry decides to play away from home.

One friend said: 'She feels as though she's happier with him than without him and that she cannot change him but perhaps he is willing to change on his own.'

However, it was actually Geri's five-year-old daughter Bluebell who encouraged the pair to rekindle their relationship.

Geri's friend added: 'Bluebell told Geri she was really missing Henry so Geri said they could see him.

'It's all very tentative at this stage though.'

Serial vacationer Geri Halliwell has never looked happier.

The former Spice Girl was spotted larking about at Paloma Beach in Sain Jean Cap Ferrat in the South of France yesterday.

Geri looked trim and toned in a leopard play-suit and her hair was tied half tied up, clearly exposing her hair extensions.

She was spending quality time with boyfriend Henry Beckwith, cousin of socialite Tamara Beckwith and the son of property magnate Sir John Beckwith.

The pair were play fighting, with Henry trying to throw the mother-of-one into the chilly water below. He even picked her up but she refused to let go.

Geri, 38, was so determined not to be thrown in that at one point she nearly pulled Henry's his shirt off.

The couple started dating in March 2009, just days after Geri ended her brief engagement to Italian yacht tycoon Fabrizio Politi.

Geri has described Henry as an 'Alpha male' personality and claims this is the reason why the pair have stayed together for so long.

She has said his strong personality means he won't let her push him around and said they have a lot in common and both enjoy being fun, active and playful.

Geri and Henry also went to Monaco Formula One Grand Prix at the Monte Carlo circuit.

Over the past year Geri has enjoyed a number of holidays, including a cruise around the South of France last summer.
