How she's changed: Pouty Abbey Crouch is unrecognisable from her fresh-faced teen years

By Andrea Magrath

Changing face: Abbey is sporting plumped-up lips and blonde hair these days

The staggering bright blue eyes are the exact same... but that's about where the similarities between this pretty young woman and the Abbey Crouch we know today end.

Posing confidently with highlights in her brunette hair and her vest pulled up to expose her midriff, she was a fresh-faced 18-year-old.

This was Abbey Crouch (née Clancy) in her days in girl band Genie Queen in 2004.

WAG-over: Abbey Clancy, pictured today, is unrecognisable from this picture of her at 18 in her Genie Queen girl band days

Two years later, she would make it to the finals of Britain's Next Top Model and catch the eye of footballer Peter Crouch.

Despite losing out to Lianna Fowler, Abbey's fame was cemented and her girl-next-door beauty would win her lucrative modelling contracts.

She was the face of EuroMillions and Lynx3 spray, and landed the covers of FHM and Sports Illustrated.

Plump up: Both pouting at the British Fashion Awards this week, and smiling in Dubai earlier this month (right) the WAG's lips are suspiciously fuller

Makeover: Abbey unveiled her plumped up look at the British Fashion Awards on Tuesday

But these days, Abbey's plumped-up lips and seemingly frozen, arch-eyed expression have led to speculation about what work the model may have had done to transform her looks.

Of course, seven years is going to make a difference to anyone's face, but the model and television presenter today is practically unrecognisable to her teenage self.

In new pictures taken this week, Abbey, still only 25, displays a surprisingly plump pout, in stark contrast to the natural smile she sported at the start of her fame.

A spokesperson for Mrs Crouch insisted to Mail Online that the WAG has not had any work done on her lips.

But photographs of the blonde beauty in 2006 and 2007 reveal a much more natural looking smile, with a thinner top lip.

And even pictures of the model smiling earlier this month in Dubai show a fuller smile.

Has French actress Melanie Laurent snared Sexiest Man Alive Bradley Cooper?

By Sarah Bull

Laurent were spotted on a date in Paris last night

He's one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors after being voted the Sexiest Man Alive by America's People magazine two weeks ago.

But it looks like he may no longer be single after he was spotted out and about in Paris with French actress Melanie Laurent.

The 36-year-old actor, who is fluent in French, was spotted enjoying a romantic evening in the City of Lights with the Inglourious Basterds beauty, 28.

Something to smile about: Cooper and Laurent look pleased as they head to a waiting car

They met at the La Comédie de Champs Elysées theatre to watch the production of Job, Ou L'Errance De Juste, before retreating to his hotel for dinner.

The couple looked relaxed in each others company and stopped to chat to some fans outside the theatre before getting into a waiting car.

While Cooper looked casual in jeans and a shirt, Laurent was wrapped up for the cool autumn evening in a trench coat and woollen hat.

'I love women': Cooper insisted he was single in a recent interview

The actor been largely single since splitting from long-term girlfriend Renee Zellweger in March.

He was briefly linked to mother-of-two Jennifer Lopez in September, but whatever they had quickly fizzled out.

Meanwhile, it appears Cooper may be succumbing to a rapidly receding hairline

The actor's hair looked significantly less full than it did in thriller Limitless earlier this year, with what seemed to be a slight bald patch at the front.

Patient: Laurent waits as Cooper talks to a fan outside the theatre

Drawing attention: Cooper and Laurent's presence at the theatre was noticed by many

Cooper donned blue lens glasses with a jumper and jeans as he hit the shops on the Boulevard Saint Germain in the French capital.

However, when asked about his personal life in an interview with People earlier this month, Cooper insisted he is single.

He said: 'I'm a single 36-year-old male. I don't see myself as a ladies' man but I love women. Do you know what I'm saying?

Maturing looks: Cooper displayed his receding hairline earlier on Tuesday in Paris

'If you're a single man and you happen to be in this business, you're deemed a player. But I don't see myself as a ladies' man.'

Cooper spends a lot of time in France after spending a year there during an exchange programme as a student.

The eyes have it: The A-list love it, but can you bear the panda look?

By Claire Coleman

Make-up aficionados might wax lyrical about nude make-up or statement lips, but for a show-stealing look this party season, the eyes have it.

And not just any eyes: we’re talking kohl-heavy, slick-lined, panda-style eyes, as favoured by Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and her sister, Pippa.

Kate Winslet sports the look on the cover of November’s Harper’s Bazaar, and Victoria Beckham and Carol Vorderman have been going extra heavy with the eye pencil.

Smokey: Kate Middleton, left, and actress Emma Watson are big fans of the kohl-rimmed look

Starry-eyed: A-listers Sarah Jessica Parker and Victoria Beckham specialise in creating the perfect peepers

Sparkling: Dannii Minogue and Keira Knightley ensure their eyes pop by applying mascara to the lower lashes

So why are celebrities going back to black? After all, piling on the eyeliner is very much a retro look.

Panda peepers go right back to the Egyptians, but from a fashion perspective it came into its own in the Sixties when thick black lines were the perfect foil to futuristic clothes by the likes of Mary Quant.

Fast forward 50 years and this bold look was to be found on the catwalks of every fashion house for this year’s autumn/winter collections. Whether applied with Cleopatra flicks or lashings of black eyeshadow, kohl is king once more.

And yet it’s hardly the most forgiving style. In fact, applied too harshly, it can add years to even the most youthful face. Celebrity make-up artist Katie Reedman of Slap UK (which counts Sienna Miller, Twiggy and Anna Friel among its clientele) says Kate and Pippa are guilty of this.

Sultry: Bronzed beauties Penelope Cruz and Cheryl Cole accentuate their dark good looks with thick eyeliner

Model behaviour: Kate Moss and Kelly Brook both love to play up their eyes with heavy make-up

Brilliant brunettes: Liz Hurley and Carol Vorderman favour high-impact mascara and charcoal eyeshadow

‘It’s very easy to get eyeliner wrong. I think the way Pippa applies it looks too harsh and heavy. She’s a pretty girl, but the way she and her sister take the line all the way around the eye is ageing,’ she says.

So, how to get it right? Katie suggests using gel liner or a pencil rather than liquid.

‘Apply liner right inside the rim, as it gives a good strong base to the look.’

And if you’re blonde or nearing 50, swap black for grey or brown. ‘Black can be unforgiving as you get older,’ says Katie.

The flick is crucial. She suggests extending the natural curve under the eye towards the brow’s outer edge.

With practice, perfect black eyes could be achieved in time for the arrival next weekend of two stars who model the look effortlessly well — Tian Tian and Yang Guan, Edinburgh Zoo’s new giant pandas.

Daniel Craig brands the Kardashians 'f***ing idiots' for making careers out of their private lives

By Sarah Bull

They have made millions from living their lives in the public eye thanks to their reality television shows.

But one person who is less than impressed by the Kardashian family is Daniel Craig, who launched an astonishing foul-mouthed rant at the brood, headed by Kim Kardashian, in a new interview with GQ magazine.

The James Bond star labelled the clan 'f***ing idiots' and criticised those who 'sell' themselves and then make demands about their private lives.

Rant: Daniel Craig has labelled the Kardashians 'f*****g idiots' for making a career out of their private lives

Craig, who managed to keep his marriage to Rachel Weisz under wraps in the summer, told the January edition of GQ magazine: 'I think there's a lot to be said for keeping your own counsel.

'It's not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for. But if you sell it off it's gone.

'You can't buy it back - you can't buy your privacy back. Ooh I want to be alone. F*** you. We've been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta and now you want some privacy?

Screen stars: Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian have made millions from their reality television shows, including Keeping Up With The Kardashians and the current Kourtney And Kim Take New York

Referring to the Kardashians, Craig said: 'Look at the Kardashians, they're worth millions. I don't think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them.

'You see that and you think "what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f***ing idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions".

'I'm not judging it - well, I am obviously.'

Figuring it out: Craig said he is 'unsatisfied constantly' with his career and always trying to get it right

Loved up: Craig and wife Rachel Weisz managed to keep their wedding entirely secret this summer

Craig also spoke about his wedding to Weisz, and said that while they managed to keep it out of the spotlight, he doesn't feel victorious about the matter.

He said: 'We got away with it. We did it privately and I've got a lot of people to thank for that. But that was the point, we did it for private reasons.

'Because we didn't want it f*****d up, because that would be sharing a secret. And the whole point is that it was a secret. A secret is a secret in my mind.'

Refusing to go into any details about the ceremony, Craig added: 'Look, I'm in love.

I'm very happy. And that is as far as I'm prepared to go. Life is long, life goes wrong and I don't want to say something now that might be thrown back later.'

The 43-year-old, who is now working on the 23rd Bond film, Skyfall, can soon be seen in the English language remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

But he says despite his lengthy and successful career, he is still not happy with how things stand.

He said: 'I'm definitely not satisfied about my career. I don't know how you can be, it's the very nature of things.

'I'm always trying to figure it out, and I'm kind of unsatisfied constantly. I always want to get it right and I don't know what the answer to it is.

'But I do know that it's out there and I do know it's worth looking for.'

Another Kardashian on the way! Kourtney announces she is pregnant with baby number two

By Andrea Magrath

Surprise! Kourtney Kardashian has revealed she is pregnant with her second child

Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant with baby number two.

The 32-year-old reality star has revealed that she is just nine weeks into her second pregnancy.

Kourtney and partner Scott Disick, 28, already have a son Mason, who turns two on December 14.

In a statement to E! Kardashian said: 'Scott and I are so excited to announce that we are expecting our second child and are thrilled to be expanding the love in our family.'

Kourtney first revealed the news to this week's issue of Us Weekly.

The older sibling of Kim and Khloé told how she woke partner Scott up at seven o'clock after taking a positive pregnancy test to share the news.

And Kourtney was so excited, she couldn't wait the traditional amount of time before sharing it with the world.

Announcement: The reality star broke the news on the cover of Us Weekly today

If it's meant to be...': Kourtney's partner Scott Disick, pictured on a date this week, says 'It wasn't like we weren't trying'

'Now I'm nine weeks along,' Kardashian tells the magazine. 'You're supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people, but I feel confident.'

In an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in July, Kourtney was seen clashing with mother Kris Jenner after she mentioned that she and Scott were considering trying for another baby.

While their first child Mason was a happy surprise, the family matriarch is adamant that the couple should be married before thinking about expanding their family.

New sibling: The couple are already parents to adorable Mason, who turns two next month

In the episode, Kourtney is insistent that she will marry if and when she chooses, and admits the reason she is hesitant to walk down the aisle is because she doesn't want her children to go through a parents' divorce they way she did as a child.

Kourtney and Scott have broken up a number of times over Kourtney's disapproval of her partner's hard partying and anger issues.

During their stint in Miami last year, Kourtney ordered Disick to leave her and their son alone after he turned violent and smashed a mirror, telling him 'I love Mason more than I love you.'

Scott has since worked out his issues and has said he has no problem marrying his long-time love.

Feeling good: Kourtney, who is just nine weeks along, was in high spirits yesterday as she shopped in LA

He even proposed to an unimpressed Kourtney in the final episode of last season's Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

Turning down his offer of marriage during dinner on their four-and-a-half year anniversary in April, Kourtney asked, 'Things are so good right now, why would we want to change that?'

And headstrong Kourtney has clearly decided not to fulfill her mother's wishes to get married before falling pregnant again.

'It wasn't like we weren't trying,' Disick says. 'We kind of just said, "If it's meant to be, it'll be.'"

Growing brood: Mason's arrival in 2009 was a happy surprise for the couple, who have been together on and off for almost five years

Another member of the family who may not be thrilled over the news is Kourtney's sister Kim.

The 30-year-old, who recently separated from husband Kris Humphries after just 72 days, said in a magazine interview this week that she feels her dreams of children may be dashed.

‘At first I was like, I want six kids. Then I went down to four, then I was down to three, and now I'm like, maybe I won't have any.’

Defiant: Kourtney clashed with mother Kris Jenner earlier this year over not wanting to get married before having another baby

No marriage plans: Kourtney has said she has no plans to marry until she's sure her children won't have to go through a divorce the way she did

‘Maybe my fairy tale has a different ending than I dreamed it would.’

Younger sister Khloé, who married basketballer Lamar Odom in 2009, has also revealed that she is concerned about her difficulty in conceiving.

Speaking on The Today Show last month, the 27-year-old admitted: 'It's so hard. I never knew about ovulation and the limited amount of time that you have to get pregnant.

'I never knew about that. No-one ever taught me that.'

Woman reveals horrific damage to her face after it was injected with cement and tyre sealant by 'butt implant doctor'

By Chris Murphy and Tamara Abraham

An alleged victim of 'fake doctor' Oneal Ron Morris has come forward to show the horrific state of her face after it was injected with a toxic mixture of cement and tyre sealant.

Rajee Narinesingh, 48, from Miami, Florida, says her face was ruined by Morris, who had just been released from custody after she was accused of administering the potentially lethal shots to another victim.

Ms Narinesingh, who, like Morris, 30, was born a man, but lives as a woman, said she suffered acutely lumpy cheeks, misshapen chin and ballooning upper lip after the back room beauty treatment.

Back room beauty treatment: Rajee Narinesingh, 48, from Miami, Florida, says her face was destroyed after it was injected with a toxic mixture of cement and tyre sealant by 'fake doctor' Oneal Ron Morris

She admitted that she initially turned to Morris because she did not have the money to pay a licensed plastic surgeon. She says she learned of him by word-of-mouth in the transsexual community.

She told Miami television station CBS4: 'It becomes so dire that you want to match your outside with your inside that you're willing to roll the dice and take your chances.'

'As a transgender person, you're thinking, "Oh, my God, I can start to look like I want to look like and I don't have to spend a lot of money."'

Damage: Ms Narinesingh suffered acutely lumpy cheeks, misshapen chin and a ballooning upper lip

Desperate: Ms Narinesingh admitted that she initially turned to Morris because she did not have the money to pay a licensed plastic surgeon, and heard her name via word-of-mouth

Ms Narinesingh has since had several plastic surgery procedures to repair the damage, and faces more still.

'I had to end up going to surgery, to get me even to this point,' she revealed.

Morris, who was released from custody late last night after posting $15,000 bail, declined to comment as she left the Miami Dade County Jail.

She said only that she has a lawyer to answer reporters' questions, and the lawyer claims she is innocent.

Allegations: Oneal Ron Morris, who was released from custody late last night after posting $15,000 bail, declined to comment as she left the Miami Dade County Jail

'Fake doctor': Prosecutors say Morris administered the potentially lethal shots to three alleged victims

She was arrested earlier this month for practising medicine without a licence and causing serious bodily injury after a patient complained that she injected cement and a chemical compound called Fix-a-Flat, which is used to mend car tyres, into her backside.

The treatment left the victim with life threatening injuries, needing several surgeries and round-the-clock care.

Since Morris's alleged practices came to light, prosecutors say several victims have come forward.

A court was told that Morris used cement, mineral oil and Fix-a-Flat, in her backroom beauty treatments.

It heard that she then used superglue to patch up entry wounds in the skin.

Her arrest photographs show an apparently enhanced rear. Detectives say she performed the potentially lethal treatment on herself.

Morris is now free on bond but the probe by the Miami Gardens Police and health officials is continuing.

Dr Dr John Martin, who is now treating Ms Narinesingh, said he has been giving her therapeutic injections that he hopes will eventually soften the hard nodules that formed in her face and return her to a more normal appearance.

'There is not an easy solution to this nightmare,' he said.

Ms Narinesingh says she is grateful to Dr Martin for trying to help give her a face back.

'I have learned my lesson,' She said. 'I could have died. I know that now.

Is this the most awkward first kiss ever? Newlyweds in trailer for Virgin Diaries series become YouTube stars (and the show hasn’t even aired yet)

By Daisy Dumas

Where a finely-honed balance of affection and appropriateness normally rules wedding first kisses, TLC's new show, Virgin Diaries, delivers a brilliantly left-field version of toe-curling awkwardness.

From the newly-married couple's bizarre stance to their gnashing jaws, it seems that for this couple - who have never before kissed - there may be some long-overdue familiarising to do.

Theirs is one tale in the network's new series which launches this Sunday.

Scroll down to see YouTube clip...

Is it in his kiss: TLC's new show, Virgin Brides, sees one highly awkward first kiss play out in front of cameras

The show's applaudably candid stars have chosen to abstain from sex because of religion or lifestyle - or have simply found themselves celibate not out of choice.

Taking a look at how the adults go about living as virgins in a society that heaps pressure in the opposite direction, the show is the latest offering from the same channel that has brought us the highly controversial Toddler and Tiaras, the curiously compelling Sister Wives and the almost unbelievable I Didn't Know I was Pregnant series.

A kiss is just a kiss: The adult virgins are just one couple featured in the new series, which premieres on Sunday

Fans of the Virgin Diaries' laudible subject matter aside, the sneak peak, aired two days ago, has already developed something of a cult following, with a YouTube clip of the first kiss clocking up nearly a quarter of a million views already.

While viewers are now debating whether the happy kiss is staged or natural, there's no doubt that it is not just the TV audience who find the kiss cringe-inducing.

Look away: One guest - possibly the bride's father - is seen burying his head in his palm as he laughs in embarrassment at the couple's kiss

Going, going, gone: The man makes sure his eyes are firmly diverted from the amorous couple, but other guests watch on awkwardly

At one point, we see a man - perhaps the father of the bride - bury his head in his hand in embarrassed laughter, while those around him watch on and grin in fascination.

How the couple's first night together unfolded is, until Sunday, anyone's guess.

Virgin Diaries premieres on Sunday at 9pm on TLC.

What WILL she pack? How Royal protocol will see Kate change several times a day for first Christmas at Sandringham

By Maysa Rawi

Wardrobe dilemma: The Duchess of Cambridge will need an outfit for church, including a hat, a long dress for dinner and at least one other for lunch

Spending your first Christmas with the in-laws can be a daunting experience.

But when the occasion involves the Royal family, nerve-racking is a more fitting description.

The Duchess of Cambridge faces the ultimate wardrobe dilemma for her upcoming stay at Sandringham - where she could be expected to change outfits several times in one day.

It's no wonder Kate has been spotted shopping on the King's Road recently, probably in search of suitable pieces for her upcoming trip.

Thankfully the Duchess has a natural instinct for appropriate attire and will no doubt look near perfect for every event.

Royal etiquette expert Jean Broke-Smith told Grazia magazine that the Duchess could be expected to change outfits up to five times in a single day.

'She won't be able to wear the same outfit twice,' she said.

'Kate will need a casual outfit for breakfast, a smart outfit - and a hat - for the morning church service, a dress for lunch, a cocktail dress for early evening drinks and a full-length dress for the evening meal.

Pressure: Kate will spend the occasion wit the Royal family

'The golden rule is nothing too short, too revealing or too gaudy.'

The Palace, however, has dismissed the idea that Catherine will be required to change so many times.

Kate has been seen shopping at Zara, LK Bennett where she reportedly picked up a black sheath dress and two cashmere cardigans.

For a more high-end look, she is said to have ordered two evening dresses from Alexander McQueen - the label she chose for her wedding gown to marry Prince William.

If the heavy sartorial pace isn't enough pressure, imagine having to pick a Christmas gift for the Queen...

I'm nobody's puppet! X Factor reject Janet Devlin strums a guitar as she flies on home to Belfast

By Holly Thomas and Marcus Barnes

Back home: Janet Devlin poses with her mother and easyJet crew after flying back to Belfast last night

All they need now is a campfire, as Janet Devlin posed with easyJet staff and her mother during a flight back to Belfast last night.

The Irish teenager clutched her guitar on the empty flight, determined to highlight she is a real musician who writes her own songs.

Less than 24 hours after being voted off the X Factor, Janet Devlin had already turned on the show saying it turned her into a karaoke singer.

The 17-year-old lost out to fellow singer Misha B on Sunday night, but said she could have gone further if she'd have been a 'puppet' and done exactly what she was told.

Janet lashed out at the show during an appearance on the Lorraine Kelly Show yesterday.

She told the chat show host: 'To me the sad thing about X Factor, and it's brought me down a lot, is the fact that I've just been covering other people's songs.

Farewell London: Janet steps away from the spotlight as she flies home after being ejected from The X Factor last Sunday

'It got to the point where I felt like a karaoke artist every Saturday night.'

And she reiterated that despite being told the opposite she stuck to her guns to avoid being a 'puppet'.

She said: 'From the start of the show I wanted to be myself and I didn't really care, in the sense that I just did what was me. I could have been a puppet and done a lot better but why would I do that?'

Puppet show: Janet Devlin appeared on the Lorraine Kelly Show where she lashed out at the X Factor saying it turned her into a karaoke singer

Janet's comments came as her choice of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ infamous 1992 hit, Under The Bridge, for her sing-off song put the X Factor at the centre of a new drugs scandal.

Viewers have protested over the flame-haired singer's song choice for her performance during the live results show.

The song about ex-addict Anthony Kiedis, 49, includes troubling lyrics about heroin needles drawing blood, has been slammed as an 'irresponsible' choice by children’s charities and anti-drugs groups.

Controversial: Janet Devlin, who lost her place on the X Factor last night, has come under fire for her song choice

The Sun reports that Claude Knights of child protection charity Kidscape complained: 'The X Factor is a family show and this was a disturbing and irresponsible song choice.'

Drug charity Focus 12, which offers counseling to addicts, has reportedly labelled the decision tasteless for a purportedly family-friendly show.

Homeward bound: Janet's rendition of Red Hot Chili Peppers' infamous hit Under The Bridge wasn't enough to save her last night

'The producers of The X Factor have a moral and social responsibility to the millions of children and teenagers who tune in,' raged head Chip Somers.

'They should be smarter about song choices, particularly given recent events on the show. The recent demise of Amy Winehouse should have shown us all how tragic drug and alcohol abuse is.'

'It is not something that should be taken lightly.'

I did it my way: Janet stuck to her guns and refused to be a 'puppet' for the show

According to The Sun an ITV spokesman has responded to the outcry: 'We won’t know if we have any complaints about this until Monday.'

The issue is particularly poignant considering ex contestant Frankie Cocozza lost his place in the competition after admitting to snorting cocaine.

Despite the strength in numbers of regional voting, Janet Devlin lost her place in The X Factor semi-final this weekend.

Still smiling: Janet managed a cheery look as she left the X Factor studios last night, but anti-drugs groups are in uproar over her last performance

After battling Misha B in the bottom two, it seems her native Northern Ireland couldn't save her.

It was little surprise, considering she forgot the lyrics to her first song on Saturday while singing Hanson hit MMMBop in the Guilty Pleasures round.

Clear victor: There was little doubt that Misha B would survive another week

The redhead performed well in the sing-off, tapping into the innocence of her very first audition with a rendition of Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.

But as Misha B belted out a hit from the Fame soundtrack, nailing her version of Out Here On My Own by Irene Cara, it was clear who was safe.

Humble: Janet gives rival Misha B a hug as she's voted off the show

Judge Louis Walsh said: 'It's getting tougher and tougher. I'm taking everything into consideration, judging on last night's two performances and the sing-off. The act I'm sending home is Janet.'

Fellow panellist Tulisa Contostavlos followed his lead, continuing: 'I'm going to base my decision on the person who has a career after the show, who will sell records and sellout arenas.

'I'm sorry to say I'm sending home Janet.'

Their mentor Kelly Rowland turned on the waterworks, refusing to decide between the two.

'I know how great these two young ladies are. Janet, I admire you as a musician and you bring something so unique to the music industry. I absolutely love you and adore you,' she gushed.

'Misha, my goodness girl, you just want this so bad. I have to pass it, I'm sorry.'

The majority verdict was therefore decided, without Gary Barlow even having his say as Dermot O'Leary declared Janet was going home.

However, when O'Leary later quizzed Barlow, he said: 'I'd have sent Janet home.'
